About WAC-Nepal: WAC-Nepal is a nonprofit, non-governmental, and nonpolitical humanitarian development organization. We are currently implementing the Integrated Nutrition and Resilient Livelihood Technical Program (INRL TP) in partnership with World Vision International Nepal. The project operates in Mellkeh Rural Municipality, Sanfebagar Municipality, Panchadewal Binayak Municipality, and Kamalbazar Municipality of Achham District.
Position: Project Coordinator – 1 Person (Based in Sanfebagar, Achham)
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science, Management, Social Science, or Business Studies with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing multiple projects with diverse teams.
- Master’s Degree in the relevant field preferred, with proven ability to manage risks and promote governance to contribute to strategic outcomes.
- Experience working with children and their wellbeing in both development and emergency contexts.
Major Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage project portfolio, reports, risks, problem-solving, team, and governance (40%).
- Project Quality and Technical Management: Ensure solid project quality and technical management, including MEAL data/information, project models, and integration of sectors such as sponsorship/cross-cutting themes (20%).
- Community Empowerment and Engagement: Engage with communities at different levels for sustainability (15%).
- Evidence of Programs Impact or Result Collection/Compilation: Collect and compile evidence of program impact or results to be shared on wider platforms (15%).
- Relationship and Partnership Management: Maintain strong relationships and manage partnerships both internally and externally (10%).
