Rastriya Mukta Haliya Samaj Federation-Nepal (RMHSF-N) is an umbrella organization working for the socio-economic rights of freed Haliyas amalgamated with 510 freed Haliya groups and 12 Community Based Organizations (CBOs) from 12 districts of Sudurpaschim & Karnali Province. RMHSF-N has been working in the field of Evidence based advocacy, Empowerment, Livelihood, WASH and Sanitation, Humanitarian Response, Good governance & Institutional Capacity development. Now, RMHSF-N is implementing a project entitled “Strengthening freed Haliya/Dalits CSOs and their collaboration with duty bearers for promoting Social, Economic, and Climate Justice for freed Haliya/Dalits – SAKSHAM” funded by ELCA & partnership with LWF Nepal. The project areas of Dadeldhura district are Ajayameru & Ganyapdhura rural municipalities. RMHSF-N invites applications from qualified and competent Nepali candidates for the following position.

1)     Project Coordinator (PC) No.1 (Dadeldhura Based)

Key Responsibilities: This position will be responsible to implement the project in partnership with Lutheran World Federation Nepal (LWF Nepal) to produce quality results working in close coordination with funding partners, CSOs, government line agencies and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible to lead role for the implementation of the project at field level with ensuring the quality of the project interventions in line with work plan. S/he reports to Executive Director of the organization & Focal Person of the supporting partner organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in social science or management disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in project management, team coordination of similar projects,
  • Previous work experience in Livelihood, Entrepreneurship Development, income generation, Market Management, Social Justice, Social Inclusion & community mobilization.
  • Knowledge of socio-economic and political context on Nepal and understanding of Bonded Labor issues.
  • Good understanding & Knowledge of GoN rules and regulations, Acts and policies regarding non-profit/social sector organizations
  • Good understanding of governing structures and related policies for local level.
  • The candidate must have Knowledge of good governance, fund raising, strong coordination and networking with Local and district level duty bearers.   
  • Highly developed advocacy and campaign skills.
  • Able to work independently under pressure of deadline.
  • Leadership skill, good teamwork and coordination skill.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills in both Nepali and English language.
  • Good knowledge of computer word, excel, power point, email, internet etc. 
  • Candidate must have motor bike driving license. 

2)      Admin & Finance Assistant (AFA)-1 No (Dadeldhura Based)

Key Responsibilities:

Admin & Finance Assistant (AFA) is entrusted with the responsibility for planning, organizing, leading, controlling and monitoring function in SAKCHAM project (RMHSF-N) in the area of Financial and Administrative Management including Procurement and Logistic and ensures the full compliances of Financial and other policies of RMHSF- Nepal. S/he reports to Executive Director /Focal Person of the supporting organization.

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Completed proficiency certificate (+2) level in Business Studies with Finance major & 5 years of work experience or any other equivalent relevant academic discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and staff mobilization.
  • Good Knowledge of Procurement, Logistic management & compliances
  •  Good interpersonal and official communication, e-mail and internet skills with learning attitude.
  • Knowledge on institutional development and capacity building, skills of proper documentation of financial matter.
  •  Able to work independently under pressure of deadline.
  • Leadership skill, good teamwork and coordination skill.
  • Good knowledge of computer word, excel, power point, email, internet etc. 
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills in both Nepali and English language.

3)     Entrepreneurship Development Facilitator (EDF) No – 1 (Dadeldhura Based and frequently field visits)

Technical Responsibilities 

  • Provide technical support in entrepreneurship development including enterprise identification, skill training, savings & credit group or cooperative group operations. 
  • Provide regular technical support to on/off farm enterprises 
  • Assist group and group entrepreneurs in preparing their business planning for entrepreneurship development. 
  • Capacitating the Community- Based Organizations Savings & Credit Groups/Cooperative Groups, 
  • Ensure that the beneficiaries are well aware of the design and process of livelihoods programs.
  • Support/facilitate entrepreneurs to enhance quality of product/service and link them with local markets, private sectors and their networks.
  • Support project beneficiary enterprises to register in government system.
  • Advocate with local governments for inclusion of project beneficiaries into their plan and policy and to access government services and entitlements.

Required Skills and Competencies: 

  • Candidates must have Completed the course of Entrepreneurship Development Facilitators (EDF) or any other equivalent relevant academic discipline.
  • Candidates completed pre-diploma course or (Level-II) should have minimum 3 years of work experience and candidates completed diploma course or (Level-III) should have minimum 2 years of experience working on Entrepreneurship development and Market Management.
  • Knowledge and skills on Market, Value Chain, and public private partnership approaches. 
  • Experience on Program Cycle Management 
  • Knowledge on farm and off-farm enterprises and business development.
  • Knowledge on institutional development and capacity building. 
  • Knowledge and skills on information collection, documentation and dissemination. 
  • Coordination and linkage development with market actors and Local Governments
