About Palliative Care and Chronic Disease Services And SUNITA Project:

The Palliative Care and Chronic Disease (PCCD) service provides clinical and community-based palliative care services. The SUNITA Project is a three-year initiative in which INF Nepal aims to establish a Palliative Care and Chronic Disease (PCCD) Centre of Excellence at Green Pastures Hospital through clinical services, research, and education/training. This project aligns with the National Strategy for Palliative Care, endorsed by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). Over three years, the project will design, implement, and test a rural healthcare intervention in palliative care in Lamjung, Rukum, Surkhet, Kapilvastu, and Banke.

Purpose of the Job:

The role involves developing and maintaining a database and information system to track project progress and research evidence. The post holder will also assist the research and monitoring team with their ongoing research and monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, Rural or International Development, or a related field, with a minimum of two years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Previous work experience in an INGO, NGO, or clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, considerate and respectful of team and community members.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer skills, including Microsoft programs, statistical analysis, and M&E tools.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in verbal and written Nepali and English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Alignment with the vision, mission, and values of INF Nepal.
