Vacancy Announcement for Office Assistant (Position-1)
The Justice and Rights Institute-Nepal (JURI-Nepal), a non-governmental and social organization working in the field of justice, law, and human rights, has opened a vacancy for the position of Office Assistant. This opportunity is for individuals who are competent and have a background in administration.
Position: Office Assistant
Location: Jawal, Lalitpur
Duration: 1 year (Extendable based on performance)
Service and Facilities: Mutual discussion between both parties will determine the terms of employment.
Minimum Qualification and Main Job Descriptions:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Completed 12th grade in administration or an equivalent educational level. A minimum of 1 year of work experience in any non-governmental or public organization is required. Individuals who have worked in non-governmental and social organizations will be given special priority.
Mandatory Skills:
- Ability to ride a scooter/motorcycle with a valid license.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the internet.
- Ability to type in both English and Nepali.
- Knowledge of TDS online entry and the verified process.
- Priority will be given to those who can operate FAMAS accounting software.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operation and management of the organization and the implementation of programs and projects as per the organization’s regulations.
- Provide assistance to the finance and administrative authorities or heads.
- Regularly perform TDS online entry and verification.
- Regularly perform EPF, Gratuity, and CIT online entry and verification.
- Visit necessary bodies for the organization’s accounting management and external correspondence.
- Open and close the office on time, and perform other organization-centric tasks after office hours.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Project Chief, Program Coordinator, Finance, and Administrative Coordinator, and other staff.
