Our organization requires qualified and willing applicants for the post of Mobile Health Practitioner (MHP) to contribute significantly to the health and welfare of Gorkha pensioners in rural villages and districts of Nepal. Working in this position, you will play a vital role in improving the health of Gurkha pensioners and their families by leveraging your education and experience in the field of health.
Required Qualifications/Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualification of Health Assistant / Staff Nurse (PCL Level): Your sufficient qualification is minimum as Health Assistant / Staff Nurse (PCL Level).
Registration with Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Nursing Council: You are registered with Nepal Health Professional Council or Nepal Nursing Council, which adheres to your professional standards.
Experience: You have acquired experience of at least three years, in government or private hospitals, health posts, or primary health care centers.
Medical Knowledge: This post requires good knowledge and skills in basic medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
Language Knowledge: You should have good written communication in English and Nepali, and also communicate in native language in Nepali.
Computer Literacy: Your computer screen should also work.
Medical Practice: Must have knowledge and ability to apply the country’s medical laws in relation to your medical practice.
Job Responsibilities:
The Mobile Health Practitioner (MHP) is managing basic clinic facilities in rural AWCs, and is responsible for home visits to pensioners within the AWCs’ Area of Responsibility (AoR). They visit vulnerable pensioners identified from each AWC and provide comprehensive assessment and primary care treatment. MHPs are working clinically and effectively with both medical and non-medical staff, and are also training them for home careers. They are required to conduct home visits to improve the health of Gurkha pensioners.
Salary:
While working in this position, your income is under EG-03 based on Nepal’s health service, and you will get NPR 64,143 as a basic monthly salary. As per policy and procedure of GWT(N), other facilities will also be provided.
The post is offered for three years initially and may be extended based on need and performance.
