Important Note – Supreme Court Order
The notice also refers to a significant legal directive from the Supreme Court:
In compliance with the writ petition No. 078-WO-0662 and others, the Supreme Court issued a mandamus order on 2079/10/24 (February 7, 2023). As per that order, after making necessary legal arrangements regarding inclusive groups, the vacancies that were effectively left unfilled in FY 2079/80 due to the non-inclusion of proportionate inclusive quotas will be compensated as per the law. For now, recruitment will proceed according to existing laws.
In simpler terms:
- Previously, some inclusive groups lost out on their rightful quota due to improper implementation.
- Now, following the Supreme Court’s order, additional posts have been added to compensate for that loss.
- The recruitment process will continue as per current laws.
What Should Applicants Do?
If you have already applied for the Police Constable position under the original advertisement, you are automatically eligible for these additional vacancies as well. If a fresh application round is opened, a separate notice will be published.
