Job Opportunity: Driver at ECHS Polyclinic Pokhara and Dharan

The Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is a government initiative to provide free medical treatment to ex-servicemen (ESM) pensioners and their dependents. Applications are invited for the position of Driver (Light and Heavy Vehicle) at ECHS Polyclinic in Pokhara and Dharan. The position is on a contractual basis without any pension benefits.

Key Details:

  • Max Age: 53 years at the time of application.
  • Basic Qualification:
    • Education: Minimum 8th class.
    • Must have a Class-1 MT driver license (Armed Forces).
    • Civil heavy driving license.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of driving experience (more than 10 years is preferred).
  • Desirable:
    • Heavy vehicle driving license.
    • First Aid Course.
  • Salary: NPR 31,520 per month.

Important Information:

  1. Age Criteria: Must meet the age limit mentioned above.
  2. Contract Duration: One year, subject to performance review. Contractual employees won’t receive benefits or allowances as government employees.
  3. Working Hours: 48 hours per week (8 hours a day for 6 days).
  4. Medical Fitness: A medical fitness certificate must be provided.
