According to the NEB notice, all students regularly studying in Grade 9—including those from General, Traditional (Sanskrit, Vedvidyashram, Gurukul, Madrasa, Gonpa) and Technical streams—must fill out the registration form on time. Without completing this registration process, students will not be allowed to sit for the SEE exam in 2083.

Along with the registration form, students must submit:

14-Year Age Requirement and Importance of the Form

Since this form is used to register the student’s name for the SEE examination, any student who fails to submit the form on time will not be allowed to sit for the SEE exam that year.
Notice Strict Ban on Double Registration
- One of the most important points to remember is that students must fill out the registration form only from the school where they are currently enrolled as regular students.
- Students must fill out the registration form only through the school where they are regularly studying. If a student is found to have filled out forms from more than one school/district/location, both forms will be automatically cancelled.
- Do not register or facilitate dual registration. If this is defied, the examination will be cancelled later, and the individual/institution responsible for such action will be held accountable.
- A sample of the registration form has been placed on the website of the Office of the Controller of Examinations. The school must instruct one student to fill out two copies of the form.
- The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) will establish the registration number (Reg. No.) and provide a soft copy to the Education Development and Coordination Unit.
The Education Development and Coordination Unit will provide the soft copy to the school. The school must:
- Write the Registration No. on the form filled out by the student.
- Affix the concerned student’s photo.
- Have the form verified by the Principal and the Head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit.
- Keep one copy at the school and provide one copy to the student.
Schools are requested to download and use the registration form from the website of the National Examination Board (NEB): www.neb.gov.np, the website of the Office of the Controller of Examinations (Class 10): www.see.gov.np, or the website of the concerned Education Development Directorate.
Corrected Notice for Open and Alternative School Students
A correction has been made in the previously published notice for students from open, alternative, and informal adult schools.
Students who were studying in Grade 9 in the academic year 2081 have already filled out the registration form in 2082, so they only need to fill out the exam application form this year.
