NEB Class 12 Grade Increment (Supplementary) Exam & Retotaling Exam Notice 2082 – Dates, Rules, Fees, Online Apply
The National Examination Board, Examination Controller Office (Classes 11 and 12) in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has released an important notice regarding the Class 12 supplementary (partial) examination. This notice pertains to the schedule and application form submission for the supplementary exam.
Who Can Apply?
Students who participated in the Class 12 annual examination held in Baishakh 2082 can apply for the supplementary exam if they meet one of the following criteria:
- They were regular examinees (with registration numbers starting with 81).
- They received a ‘D’ grade or higher in all subjects except for two, in which they received ‘NG’ (Not Graded).
- They received a ‘D’ grade or higher in all subjects except for two, in which they were absent.
- They received a ‘D’ grade or higher in all subjects except for one, in which they either received ‘NG’ or were absent.
Exam Dates and Time
The supplementary exam will be held over two days, with the exam time from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Saturday, Bhadra 28, 2082:
- Compulsory English (0041).
- For students taking the exam in only one subject, this will be the day they take their exam, regardless of the subject.
- For students taking two subjects, this day is for the subject with the smaller code number. However, if a student is taking both Compulsory English and Compulsory Nepali, they must take the Compulsory English exam on this day.
- Sunday, Bhadra 29, 2082:
- For students taking two subjects, this day is for the subject with the larger code number. The Compulsory English (0041) exam will not be held on this day.
Application Form & Fees
- Regular fee: NPR 600
Deadline: Bhadra 13, 2082 - Late fee: NPR 1,200
Late deadline: Bhadra 20, 2082
Forms must be submitted through your school to the respective board office by Bhadra 22, 2082 (end of office hours). Attach the payment receipt (bank voucher or online payment proof) with your application.
Important Notes for Examinees (Supplementary Exam – Class 12, 2082)
- The supplementary (chance) exam will be held for only two days.
- If you are appearing for only one subject, you must take the exam on the first day (2082/05/28), no matter what subject it is.
- If you’re appearing in Compulsory English (Code 0041), your exam will be held only on the first day.
- If you’re giving exams for two subjects, you must appear for the subject with the smaller code number on the first day. However, if you are taking both Compulsory English (0041) and Compulsory Nepali (0021), you still need to appear for English on the first day, even though its code is higher.
- If a student misses the scheduled exam, there will be no other chance to take it later.
- Exams will not be postponed for any public holiday or emergency unless officially announced by the Examination Controller Office.
- Students must bring their own required materials such as graph paper, charts, log tables, and fee vouchers.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or other electronic gadgets into the exam hall. If any such item is found, the student’s exam will be cancelled immediately.
- Students must reach the exam center at least 15 minutes before the exam begins and must enter the exam hall on time.
- The notice about exam centers will be published later.
- Students must appear for the exam only at their assigned center. Changing exam centers is not allowed.
- All schools and board offices are requested to follow this notice strictly.
Class 12 Retotaling Application Notice – NEB 2082
The National Examination Board (NEB), Examination Controller Office in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has announced the opening of retotaling applications for students who are not satisfied with their Class 12 results from the exams held between Baisakh 21 and Jestha 2, 2082.
Application Period
- Starts: Shrawan 20, 2082 – from 1:00 PM
- Ends: Shrawan 29, 2082 – until 5:00 PM
Late applications will not be accepted, so apply within the deadline.
How to Apply for Retotaling (Online Only):
- Go to:
www.neb.gov.np → Click on “Online Payment (Retotaling)”
or payment.neb.gov.np/StudentPortal - Enter your Symbol Number and Date of Birth to search your details.
- Select the subject(s) you want to apply for re-totaling.
- Pay the required fee using any digital wallet.
- Save the confirmation message or receipt as proof of application.
