Notice: Written Exam Schedule for Meteorology Assistant Post

The Public Service Commission (PSC), Kathmandu Office, has announced the written examination schedule for the Meteorology Assistant post under Nepal Engineering Service, Meteorology Group, Non-Gazetted First Class (Technical). According to Advertisement No. 12017/0811-82 (Internal Competition), the written exam will be held at the Kathmandu examination center. The notice has been published to inform all applicants who have had their applications approved about the exam date, time, and venue.
Candidates who require an assistant writer must submit a formal request to the PSC office, along with valid reasons and supporting documents. This request must be submitted at least ten days before the exam date, in accordance with Rule 68(1) of the PSC Regulations, 2079.
All applicants are strictly required to follow the important instructions mentioned in the original notice during the examination.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- The examination as per the schedule will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission.
- Only black ink should be used in the examination. Also, lead pens cannot be used in the objective answer sheet.
- When answering the objective multiple choice questions, only the answers written in English capital letters A, B, C, D will be accepted.
- Candidates from examination centers other than those whose applications have been approved by the Kathmandu Examination Center will not be allowed to participate in the examination.
- It is prohibited to bring bags, mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices into the examination building. Calculators will not be allowed to be used in the objective examination.
- Along with the admit card, it is mandatory to bring your citizenship or any identity card with a photo issued by the Government of Nepal to the examination.
- Due to infectious diseases, the candidate will have to arrange for masks, sanitizers and drinking water for his/her own purposes.
