Head of Human Resources Department

Khalti Pvt. Ltd., a leading mobile wallet and payment gateway provider in Nepal, is seeking a seasoned and passionate HR leader to join our growing team! As Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Khalti’s culture, attracting top talent, and driving strategic HR initiatives to propel our company’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all HR functions, including recruitment & selection, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compensation & benefits.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, and source, screen, and interview top candidates.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Champion Khalti’s culture by promoting employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to optimize Khalti’s HR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience leading the HR function in a mid-sized or large organization, with experience in the FinTech industry a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to HR challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for building a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
