Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal (BWSN) was established in 1995 A.D (2051 B.S.) and registered as non-profit making, nonpolitical and non-governmental organization in District Administration Office, Sarlahi. BWSN was formed with the objective of engaging marginalized and vulnerable people in development activities with their enhanced capacity which ensures the livelihood improvement opportunities for poor, deprived and destitute community people living in Sarlahi and surrounding districts of Terai region. The thematic area of BWSN is Disaster Risk Management, Climate change, Human Rights, Child Rights, Peace and Democracy, Livelihood and Enterprises Development, Education, Health, Nutrition and WASH. 

In partnership with Save the Children / Global Fund under National Tuberculosis Control Centre BWSN is implementing TB control program in 13 districts (Jhapa, Ilam, Sunsari, Morang, Udaypur, Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahotari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa). BWSN invites application from interested and eligible candidates. All candidates are request to mention the expected salary in application.

1. Position: District Project Coordinator 

Required No – 1

Duty Station: Bara  District, Madesh Province

Jobs Summary

As District Project Coordinator responsibility for strategic leadership, and overall planning, Monitoring, budgeting and coordination for the TB project. S/he also looks after the partnership strengthening among BWSN (SR), Save the Children, government counterparts, and Local CSOs partners. S/he represents the project at District, provincial and national level and closely works with the Province Team Leader, Program Manager, Executive Director and HO, focal person, having core responsibility of project implementation in Koshi Province.

• Supporting Organization in human resource management and ensuring the right person for the right job in a project to meet the agreed requirement of project and organization.
• Abide with all the zero tolerance policies (Child safeguarding, Anti-harassment policy, anti-fraud breviary & corruption policy, code of conduct).
• Review work log (plan and progress) of subordinates, performance monitoring and evaluation and manage onsite coaching/regular communication to enhance the capacity of team members.
• Responsible for Program & financial planning and reviewing the acquired result
• Analyze monthly target vs achievement of programmatic, financial progress and logistic supply in field, and make further plan to fill the identified gap.
• Monitoring and evaluation of the program, developing the strategy to fill the identified gap. Developing and preparing the report as per need.
• Verify NTPMIS and excel report for data consistency in a verification sheet and share with line Manager /SCI
• Conduct regular monitoring and supervision to district and support district team at district level and palika level as per need.
• Conduct joint supervision with the government line agencies at District level as per need.
• Maintain adequate coordination with local government, health offices and donors.

Eligibility

Qualification and experiences:

• Master in Public Health with 1 year of experience, Bachelors in public health with 2 years of experience in health-related program

(The experiences in the TB program will be given priority)

Skills and competency:

• Effective coordination and team mobilization skills.
• Sound knowledge of MS package (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• Two-wheeler valid driving license.
• Capability to work under pressure.

2. Position: Outreach Worker/ Social Mobilizer (FAST)

Required No – 1

Duty Station: Area covered( Provience Hospital) Dhanusha District, Madesh Province

Jobs Summary

• Identify Presumptive TB Case from Potential Sites of Existing Health Facility of Government and Private Health Care Provider of Assigned Area. 
• Reach and Conduct Tracing of the Family &Vulnerable Community (Index Family and Surrounding)
• Support to Have proper diagnosis and enroll for TB treatment and contribute on TB end strategy of area Utilize full of energy and innovation toward TB free society.

Eligibility

• Should have minimum qualification of HA/CMA/ANM/LA.
• Experience in related field is desirable.
• Local resident of intervention area and person having own two -Wheeler with valid driving license will be given high priority.
