Position: Sponsorship Communication and Engagement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
The Sponsorship Communication and Engagement Officer will be responsible for managing Sponsorship Systems, data management, child media content, and all incoming and outgoing correspondence. They will ensure compliance with World Vision’s Global Standards and technical requirements and support quality communication with sponsors and children. This role will also involve field visits for monitoring and capacity building.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and coordinate all Sponsorship Communication features and Data management for WVI Nepal.
- Monitor the quality, integrity, security, and consistency of information generated by Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship communications products and systems.
- Ensure timely capture, upload, and maintenance of child media content in alignment with WV Sponsorship Global Rich Media standards.
- Monitor and respond to queries, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
- Provide support for WVI Nepal’s digitalization efforts in alignment with Partnership communications and product standards.
- Manage data quality, correspondence standards, and timely dispatch.
- Provide orientation and training to staff on correspondence standards and quality.
- Ensure that all processes comply with organizational standards and policies.
Required Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or equivalent position in the development sector or sponsorship-based organization.
- Understanding of poverty-related issues, development theories, and sustainable development practices.
- Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good photography and videography skills.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Rural Development, Development Studies, Sociology, International Relations, or relevant fields.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of Sponsorship standards and processes.
- Skill in web-based databases.
- Report writing skills.
- Ability to articulate and implement standards and procedures.
- Innovation and creativity to engage children effectively.
- Knowledge of WVI Nepal’s Technical Programs and organizational policies and standards.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Nepali.
Travel and/or Work Environment:
- 10% field visits.
