CTEVT Entrance Exam Notice – Technical Education and Vocational Training
The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has released an urgent notice regarding the annual and final examination applications for various pre-diploma level regular and partial programs. Additionally, the CTEVT has also published an important notice about the entrance examinations for multiple technical and vocational training programs. This notice was officially issued on 2082/04/05.
The notice informs students that the entrance exam application process for several programs, including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, agriculture, veterinary science, culinary arts, forestry, hotel management, and computer applications, will be conducted online through the ITMS Online System.
Programs Included
The entrance exam applies to multiple programs such as:
- Special scholarship programs for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, and more.
- 12+6 month training courses including Animal Health, Survey Engineering, Refrigeration and AC, Hotel Management, Social Mobilization, and Entrepreneurship Development.
Key Dates and Deadlines:
- Application Submission (Regular Fee): Interested students must submit their exam application forms to their respective educational institutions by July 20, 2025 (Shrawan 19, 2082).
- Application Submission (Late Fee): Applications will be accepted with a late fee until July 26, 2025 (Shrawan 26, 2082).
- Online Entry by Institutions (Regular Fee): Educational institutions must complete online entry in ITMS for regular fee applications between July 21, 2025 (Shrawan 6, 2082) and July 20, 2025 (Shrawan 19, 2082).
- Bank Deposit by Institutions (Regular Fee): The deadline for institutions to deposit the regular exam application fees to the bank is July 21, 2025 (Shrawan 20, 2082).
- Online Entry by Institutions (Late Fee): Educational institutions must complete online entry in ITMS for late fee applications between July 21, 2025 (Shrawan 20, 2082) and July 26, 2025 (Shrawan 26, 2082).
- Bank Deposit by Institutions (Late Fee): The deadline for institutions to deposit the late exam application fees to the bank is July 27, 2025 (Shrawan 27, 2082).
- Submission of Documents to Provincial Office: All relevant documents, including regular and late exam application forms and bank vouchers, must be submitted to the respective CTEVT Provincial Office by July 29, 2025 (Shrawan 29, 2082).
Key Instructions for Candidates
- All eligible candidates must submit their application forms online through www.ctevtexam.org.np before the given deadline.
- Printed copies of the online application form must be submitted to the respective CTEVT provincial offices.
- Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam without completing the online application.
- For multiple-choice questions, answers should be marked using capital letters (A, B, C, D).
- Payment for the entrance exam must be made through the provided Rastriya Banijya Bank accounts in each province.
- Candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID on the exam day.
- Application Process: Educational institutions must print exam application forms from ITMS Online (white paper for regular, yellow for partial) for all registered students from academic session 2078/079 (2021 AD) onwards.
- Scholarship Holders: Regular students receiving meritorious and categorized scholarships are exempt from exam fees.
- Partial Examinees: Only partial examinees registered from the academic session 2078/079 (2021 AD) for (12+6) month programs are eligible to fill the exam application form.
- Internal Assessment:
- For regular examinees, internal assessment marks must be entered into the web-based online system, and a certified printed copy with signatures and seals must be submitted. Once entered, internal assessment marks cannot be changed.
- For partial examinees from academic session 2078/079 (2021 AD) onwards, only marks of those who failed (NQ) in the internal assessment need to be entered into the web-based online system, printed, signed, and sealed.
- Submission of Forms: Exam application forms will not be accepted individually; they must be submitted through the respective educational institution.
- Eligibility for Final Exam: Only students who have passed the internal assessment examination will be allowed to participate in the final examination. If a student who failed (NQ) in the internal assessment attempts the final exam by mentioning the failed subject, their exam for that subject will be automatically canceled.
- Admit Cards: Admit cards for regular students (white paper) and partial students (yellow paper) will be printed from ITMS Online, certified by the provincial office, and distributed to students. Students without admit cards will not be allowed to take the exam. For institutions using Online Payment via ITMS, the principal can print, sign, and seal the admit cards themselves.
- Course Completion: All educational institutions must ensure that training is completed according to the curriculum’s prescribed syllabus.
Examination Fees:
- Private Institutions (Regular Examinees): Rs. 2,000/- per student (Rs. 1,700/- for exam fee and Rs. 300/- for OJT).
- CTEVT Constituent, Partnership, and TECS Program Schools (Regular Examinees): Rs. 1,000/- per student.
- Partial Examinees (Per Subject): Rs. 200/- for one theoretical or practical subject, with an additional Rs. 150/- for each extra subject.
Important Dates
- Online form submission starts from 2082/04/05.
- The deadline for online applications and payment submission is 2082/04/16.
- Admit cards will be available after verification of payment and application forms.
