The National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal, situated in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has released a comprehensive notification regarding the submission of application forms for the Class 12 Annual Exams. Below are the key points you need to be aware of to ensure a smooth application process:

  1. Deadline for Examination Fee:
    • Candidates with registration numbers starting with 76 and 77 must submit their examination fees by the end of Magh 2080.
    • A grace period is available until the 15th of Falgun 2080, with a late fee applicable.
  2. Eligibility Criteria for Class 12 Regular Examinees:
    • Students must have a minimum grade of D in theory and a C grade in internal assessments across all subjects from class 11 to be eligible.
  3. Examination Fees:
    • The standard fee is Rs. 600 per student, increasing to Rs. 1,200 with the late fee.
    • An additional Rs. 75 charge per subject is mandatory for practical examinations.
  4. Payment Instructions:
    • Fees must be deposited directly into the NEB’s account.
    • Late submissions will not be considered.
  5. Examination Centers:
    • Students will be assigned specific examination centers, and no changes will be allowed.
  6. Practical Examinations:
    • Detailed arrangements for practical exams in subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Hotel Management are provided.
    • Deadlines are set for the completion and submission of practical exam marks.
  7. Grade Increment Candidates:
    • Candidates seeking grade improvement must follow specific guidelines and file from their original school of examination.
  8. Online Application Submission:
    • Students are required to personally fill out their application forms.
    • Schools will facilitate online entries, and the portal will be open from 21st Magh 2080 to 20th Falgun 2080 for regular examinees.
    • Grade increment candidates have a separate schedule.
  9. Mandatory Online Entry:
    • Internal/practical marks must be entered online before the annual examination to avoid cancellation.
  10. Payment Options:
    • Examination fees can be paid via bank vouchers or digital payment methods such as Connect IPS, e-Sewa, Khalti, and RBB mobile banking.
    • Proof of payment is required.
