Job Description: Officer, Corporate Advisory Department

Himalayan Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Ltd., is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual at the Officer level for its Corporate Advisory Department.

Designation:

  • Level: Mid-Level (Jr. Officer to Sr. Officer)
  • Department: Corporate Advisory
  • Reports to: Head of Department
  • Work Location: Himalayan Capital Limited, Corporate Office

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Drive overall business growth and operational aspects of the department, supporting the HOD in achieving business and operational targets.
  2. Analyze clients’ business models, enhance documentation, and create streamlined concepts.
  3. Analyze financial and operational data, preparing comprehensive analysis reports.
  4. Develop business plans for acquisition of financing through debt or equity.
  5. Prepare proposals for investment, restructuring, financing, and other advisory services.
  6. Conduct Due Diligence Assessment for M&A and Investments on behalf of client companies.
  7. Negotiate terms of advisory services and service fees with clients.
  8. Ensure smooth execution of advisory services by coordinating negotiation, entrance, coordination, and exit meetings.
  9. Solicit business for the department.
  10. Ensure regulatory reporting compliance with regulators.
  11. Conduct internal research and development projects, strengthening organizational knowledge base and preparing related reports and proposals.

Skills, Education, and Work Experience Requirements:

Skills Required:

  1. Extensive interpersonal and institutional communication and networking skills.
  2. Strong integrity, innovation, and intuitive skills.
  3. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Knowledge of company, taxation, FDI, and other prevailing laws and regulations.
  5. Strong leadership and management skills.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Research (Professional qualification of Chartered Accountancy (CA/ACCA) from ICAN or equivalent body will be an added merit)

Work Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a relevant field; candidates with exposure to project financing in Banks and Financial Institutions will be prioritized.

Salary and Benefits:

- Advertisement -
  • Annual Cost to Company (A-CTC) ranging between NPR 615,000 – NPR 1,240,000.
  • Allowances: General, Communication, Fuel, Festive, and Force Leave Allowance.
  • Insurance: Medical, Accidental, Life (under Endowment Scheme), and Critical Illness Coverage.
  • Others: Leaves, Retirement Benefits, and Bonuses as per Labor Act.
