Job Description: Officer, Corporate Advisory Department
Himalayan Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Ltd., is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual at the Officer level for its Corporate Advisory Department.
Designation:
- Level: Mid-Level (Jr. Officer to Sr. Officer)
- Department: Corporate Advisory
- Reports to: Head of Department
- Work Location: Himalayan Capital Limited, Corporate Office
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive overall business growth and operational aspects of the department, supporting the HOD in achieving business and operational targets.
- Analyze clients’ business models, enhance documentation, and create streamlined concepts.
- Analyze financial and operational data, preparing comprehensive analysis reports.
- Develop business plans for acquisition of financing through debt or equity.
- Prepare proposals for investment, restructuring, financing, and other advisory services.
- Conduct Due Diligence Assessment for M&A and Investments on behalf of client companies.
- Negotiate terms of advisory services and service fees with clients.
- Ensure smooth execution of advisory services by coordinating negotiation, entrance, coordination, and exit meetings.
- Solicit business for the department.
- Ensure regulatory reporting compliance with regulators.
- Conduct internal research and development projects, strengthening organizational knowledge base and preparing related reports and proposals.

Education:
- Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Research (Professional qualification of Chartered Accountancy (CA/ACCA) from ICAN or equivalent body will be an added merit)
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a relevant field; candidates with exposure to project financing in Banks and Financial Institutions will be prioritized.
Salary and Benefits:
- Annual Cost to Company (A-CTC) ranging between NPR 615,000 – NPR 1,240,000.
- Allowances: General, Communication, Fuel, Festive, and Force Leave Allowance.
- Insurance: Medical, Accidental, Life (under Endowment Scheme), and Critical Illness Coverage.
- Others: Leaves, Retirement Benefits, and Bonuses as per Labor Act.
